Movactive releases SmartEye: the next-generation videostreaming application

Movactive, the solution provider leading the Italian m2m market, has announced that it has released SmartEye the web-based application to shoot videos from anywhere on the globe, provided a wireless UMTS/HSPA broadband connection is available.

SmartEye promises maximum flexibility in any condition and provides overall control of two films recording integrated within the very same device:
1. the first one from a static point of shooting. The device can be easily hidden because of its extraordinary miniaturization. 2. the second one, equipped with a PTZ control tool (Pan Tilt Zoom ), supervises any dome RS485 interfaced videocamera.
SmartEye is the best in all installing conditions even on the most challenging fields.

Web-based. Following the automatic installation of an ActiveX and after a few easy browser configurations, you can access the web interface and watch the videos. Streaming is available on many open protocols such as RTSP/RTP so that many tools can be used: VLC, Real Player QuickTim and more. Common pcs with adsl connection or wireless broadband enabled pdas and laptops is all you need to enjoy SmartEye’s video-recordings.

High-quality. Standard H.264 ( MPEG4-Part 10 ) and HSPA broadband combine to provide 12-frames-per-second streaming, at the maximum 4CIF resolution.
